Art Society is an award-winning art collecting game with easy-to-learn rules for 2 to 4 players. You are an art connoisseur trying to impress your peers by putting together the most fashionable art collection of them all! Bid on the hottest works of art, then fix them on your living room drawing wall in a tastefully curated gallery that's the envy of the local art scene. But beware! Fashion is fleeting, and trends are difficult to predict. The paintings that you and your fellow collectors don't buy will eventually make their way to the museum, changing the value of your collection.

In Friends in High Places, while building your collection, you'll try to imprint one, or all three, influential people in the local art scene: the Art Curator, the Socialite, and the Art Critic. Impressing the Art Curator will give you access to one powerful favor that can completely change the course of your game. The Socialite will present a series of smaller trends for all of you to compete to follow; the first to complete them gets an earlier choice on which rewards to reap. Keeping an eye on the Art Critic's current publications and making sure your wall matches reflect what critics currently think the style is can really make you the talk of the town.
