Description
In the peaceful village of Ravenswood Bluff, a demon walks among you…
During a hellish storm, near the middle of the road, a scalding scream is heard. The people of the town rush to investigate and find the murdered city narrator, his body impaled on the handles of the clock tower and the blood dripping onto the bottom bells. A demon is out there, killing himself at night and disguised as a human during the day. Some have fragments of information. Others have abilities that fight against evil or protect the innocent. But the Demon and his evil minions are spreading lies to confuse and generate suspicions. Can the good inhabitants arm themselves with a head-breaker in time to execute the true demon and save themselves? Will evil invade this village that was once peaceful?
Blood on the Clocktower is a lighthouse game and hidden roles for groups of 5 to 20 players on teams of Good and Evil, supervised by a Narrator player who directs the action and makes crucial decisions. The objective of the game is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they overwhelm the people of the pueblo.
During the “day” phase, players socialize openly and whisper in private to exchange knowledge or spread lies, which culminates in the execution of a player if the majority thinks he is evil. During the “night”, the players open their eyes and the Narrator wakes up once in a while to collect information, lie or kill.
The Narrator uses game components to guide each game, leaving others free to play without table or table. The players remain at the center of the action until the end, even if their deceased characters, approaching Ravenswood Bluff like ghosts trying to win from beyond the tomb.
If you come to a game late, you can enter after having started as a powerful traveling person with unusual talents and questionable loyalties. Each character comes with their own special ability and there are never two players in a game that is the same persona.
