Description

The galaxy has enjoyed peace for many years. After the ill-fated Terran-Hegemonic War (30,027–33,364), all the great space civilizations made an enormous effort to prevent such terrible events from happening again. In order to safeguard the cherished peace, the Galactic Council was constituted, which has carried out valuable initiatives to prevent the escalation of malicious acts.

However, tension and discord are growing between seven large species and within the Consejo itself. The old alliances came to a standstill and soon signed new diplomatic treaties in secret. The confrontation between the superpowers seems inevitable: it only fails to clarify the outcome of the galactic conflict. What faction will seize victory and bring the galaxy to its dominion?

The shadows of great civilizations are about to eclipse the galaxy. Lead your village to victory!

In Eclipse you are in charge of a vast interstellar civilization that competes with its rivals for dominance of the galaxy.

In each round you will expand your civilization by exploring and colonizing new sectors, investigating technologies and building space ships for war. After 8 rounds, the match ends and the player wins with the most points from Victoria (PV).

The PVs are obtained in battles, establishing Diplomatic Relations, Controlling Sectors, Controlling Monoliths, carrying out Discoveries and Investigating Technologies.

There are many different ways to achieve victory, so you have to plan your strategy according to the strengths and weaknesses of your species, and pay attention to the development of other civilizations!
