Description
Garum was a fermented fish sauce used as a condiment in ancient times; its production and export were a source of prosperity and perhaps an impetus for Roman penetration into the coastal regions of Lusitania and Spain. Garum, from present-day Portugal and Spain, was highly valued in Rome and has now inspired a versatile strategy board game for the whole family, from the age of 8, which can be played by 2 to 4 players. Garum is a tile-laying game that lasts around 30 minutes, is language-independent and offers endless possibilities for replayability, due to its board system, which ensures that no two games are the same. Each board has 4 spaces filled with 4 colours in different proportions, although the colour that the player is defending is the predominant one. The aim of the game is to play Cetarian Tiles strategically, to obtain a large number of symbols of your own colour in selected rows or columns - the greater the influence, the greater the reward! By placing the pieces, players can apply to score points, collect some bonuses and also block the opponent's intentions. Whoever scores the most points is the winner.
