Description
Lisbon wakes up to modernity. King Pedro V orders that the city's squares and streets be paved with Portuguese pavements.
In front of the Teatro D. Maria II, where it all begins, the undulating and geometric patterns will make Rossio Square one of the most beautiful in the kingdom.
The Portuguese King has called the finest stonemasons of the country to pave one of the most important squares with sidewalk tiles (worldwide famous black and white tiles that pave several squares in Portugal). But the task is enormous and players will have to count on the aid of helper cards which will help them score points and/or collect money. In Rossio, players start the game by drawing five cards and keeping three of them in their hands.
