Slide (Portuguese)

Description

The challenge of Slide is to get rid of the cards to leave as few points as possible.

To begin, deal sixteen cards to each player, who arranges them face down in a 4x4 grid. The cards range from 1 to 10, with ten of each number.

To begin, each player reveals a card of their choice from the grid. Starting with the player who revealed the lowest number, each player claims a revealed card and slides it into their grid to close the gap they created when they removed a card.

The starting player continues to rotate clockwise while the others do so fifteen more times, until they finally have a completely face-up 4x4 grid. Each number in a grid adjacent to the same number is removed, and the sum of the remaining cards is their score. Whoever has the lowest score wins.

Alternatively, play several rounds until one player reaches 100 points. Then, once again, the player with the lowest score wins.
